It took me a little bit to get into this. It seemed like part of it was over my head but as I kept reading it become clearer and I felt my heartbeat pick up at the suspense and the conflict. This is a well-written piece and really shows how grief can impact one's life. I know personally I had allowed my grief over the loss of my mother to hold me back. I could relate to the Forgotten One.

I really enjoyed this! Olleton was wise and a good persuader! I didn’t think the ending quite fit the rest of the story though (just my humble opinion) …somehow I would have more imagined Olleton saying he was glad they didn’t have to find out if he really would have killed himself than saying he was no buffoon. But great job on weaving an interesting story of persuasion!
