This made me tear up! I have a son with Aspergers and the sight and sounds really do bother him. This is a wonderful description of how a child with sensory overload views the world. Thanks for writing this!

What a delight to read. Although I'm not sure, I think you mayhave capture the words of an Autistic Child perfectly. You certainly make it so others have a glimpse of what it is like to be a mother to a "special child." Congratulations on placing 7th in level 3!
