In the classrooms of schools across our land.
What ever happened to God’s sacred laws?
A sign proudly displayed, a guide for all,
Is now ruled improper and such is banned.
There is something missing up on the walls.
Our children are troubled, on whom to call?
The name of the Lord, they don’t understand.
What ever happened to God’s sacred laws?
The same one found hanging in our town halls,
Has been taken down, as the courts demand.
There is something missing up on the walls.
Some could be saved before taking the fall,
If only they heard of these ten commands.
What ever happened to God’s sacred laws?
As children of God we should be appalled,
And on these stone tablets take a brave stand.
There is something missing up on the walls.
