a new song for you to sing.
Don’t let your thoughts be anxious,
let not your fears get you down.
For Jesus came to give you,
a new mind that's fit and sound.
Think not about the problems,
that will come another day.
For Jesus came to give you,
a new and peaceful way.
Don’t let your spirit falter,
let not sorrow take its toll.
For Jesus came to give you,
a new life that's full and whole.
Think not about the future,
and what it may or may not hold.
For Jesus came to give you,
a new spirit that's brave and bold.
Don’t let stress make you fearful,
let not anguish be what you feel.
For Jesus came to give you,
a new heart that knows His will.
Think not about tomorrow,
give no thought to what's ahead,
For Jesus came to give you,
a new hope in Him instead.
Don’t let your heart be worried,
let not fear take your peace away.
For Jesus came to give you,
a new song to sing today!
