Of nature in her violent moods,
I’m shaken, knowing lives are broken
When she presents this attitude…
I cower in my prison cell,
I fear the storm too much to leave;
I see the darkness, not the freedom:
I’m blind to what I could achieve...
But when the Master calls my name
I have no choice but to obey,
For in His eyes I see the love
Which has the only power to save…
Upon the sea, I feel the fury
Of nature as the waves foam white
And terror grips my heart once more—
Where is the Master in this plight?
Oh, Master, Master, save my life,
Before I’m swallowed by the sea!
But in the bottom of the boat
I see the answer to my plea,
For He lies sleeping, free of fear
He isn’t anxious – He’s safe from harm,
For in the midst of nature’s fury
His Father holds him in His arms…

For some reason, the 2nd to last stanza didn't seem to "flow" as well as the others, but that's probably just me. :)
