All the pieces that make me whole,
Look into the darkest places,
Check out all its empty spaces.
Open doors that I have locked,
Deep resentments I have blocked,
Search for all the signs of hate,
Any thoughts of malice trait.
Unearth all secrets I have hidden,
From myself for years now ridden,
Throughout my life of weary tears,
Hunt and chase my lifelong fears.
Seek for any lingering doubt,
Of what my life would be without,
If I had never known you Lord,
Find mistrust that I have stored.
Eradicate the buried guilt,
Heavy walls that I have built,
Replace the anger with your peace,
Bring me now a sweet release
Restore in me what I possessed,
As a child when I could rest,
Sleeping soundly through the night,
Knowing you were in my sight.
After your examination,
Give this soul full restoration,
Fill it with with your gentle grace,
So I might know of heaven's place.
