The exorcism began on a cold snowy day in December. This would be Father Carlos second exorcism this month and his most difficult.
Father Carlos knocked on the door of Tammy Sanford’s house and was greeted by three nuns from the local Parish. Tammy sat in a catatonic state in the middle of the living room. She had a long history of involvement with the occult and satanic group rituals.
Father Carlos took his coat off, removed his veil of Holy Water and walked toward Tammy. He got to within five feet of her when her long black hair jumped straight up in the air as if it had just been super charged with a volt of static electricity. Her eyes were twitching wildly around in their sockets and she was drooling profusely.
The hair on his arms stood up when she yelled out in a low guttural voice, “Leviathan has the key to the bottomless pit.”
Father Carlos ignored her and began the invocations of the Roman ritual for exorcism. As he began she screamed in a high pitched voice, “You imbecile priest, didn’t you hear me, the bottomless pit has been opened!”
She began to levitate off her chair and the nuns quickly grabbed her and tied her down tightly.
Father Carlos had never confronted a demon with this much power and strength in all his exorcism’s. He ordered the demon to reveal itself.
The demon jerked Tammy from side to side and through a contorted face she growled with a lion like voice, “My name is Amazarak the teacher of all sorcerers and diviners.”
“Why did you say Leviathan has the key to the bottomless pit?” Father Carlos demanded.
Amazarak shouted, “You fool! The end has already begun, the pit is open, powerful demons are ascending with allusions meant to deceive the very elect. Soon your scientists will make contact with UFO’s and we will change the world’s religious beliefs. We are approaching earth now as extraterrestrial gods and Armageddon is close behind.”
Father Carlos was caught off guard when the demon talked about the arrival of UFO’s. He knew for a fact that his church had a giant infrared telescope named Lucifer sitting atop Mount Graham, Arizona searching for intelligent life.
He remembered reading a document published by the Catholic Truth Society, the official publisher for the Vatican where a papal astronomer said, “sooner or later, the human race will discover that there are other intelligent creatures out there in the Universe.”
Father Carlos was brought back to his task at hand when the demon began screaming through Tammy, “Leave us alone!” He sprinkled his Holy Water on the beast and ordered it to leave in the name of Christ.
“I will not leave her!” the demon screamed.
All of a sudden the house heated up to an unbearable degree and what sounded like high pitched frightened monkey screams came hurling out of Tammy’s mouth in surround sound.
Father Carlos was flung into the corner of the room as Amazarak bolted out of Tammy. He looked up from his fetal position on the floor and saw a huge dark shadowy figure standing over him.
“We are coming and you will join us!” Amazarak hissed.
Father Carlos grabbed his cross and cried out in Latin “Vade Retro Satana,” and with that the demon was gone.
That night as Father Carlos sat in his room he opened his bible to Revelation 9:1 and read:
“I saw a star (Satan) fall from heaven to earth. To him was given the key to the bottomless pit.”
Father Carlos wondered if the world was ready to confront the invisible forces of the cosmos. Was there a grand demonic delusion heading Earth’s way?
Would their arrival play a key role in ushering in a New World Order and a new age of spiritual awakening or would humanity cling to the faith of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob?
