Just a quick note to say thanks, and I love You. You have certainly had Your loving hands around me throughout my entire life. Yes, my Lord...You certainly are amazing. I was revisiting just some of the things You've done for me. The following are just a few ways Your hands have encircled me with protection and love.
Dear Lord, I remember one time in 1999, I was driving on the Long Island Expressway, and there was a huge accident just ahead. There were cars, and injured bodies all over the road...however, the dynamics of the road made it impossible to see what lay ahead. As I came down the hill, I noticed the massive accident while doing sixty-five miles per hour. I screamed, "Dear God, help me!" And, just like that...my car literally glided sideways to a complete stop. It was as if someone picked it up and placed it down safely at the side of the road. I know that was You...So, thank You my Lord.
Oh, and Lord...remember the time I was dropping off books for charity in the middle of nowhere, and a strange looking man approached me? You'll recall how he stopped his car and got out with a lascivious grin while running toward me? I stood paralyzed with fear and whispered, "Dear God, this doesn't look good...help me." And, just like that, the man stopped on a dime, put his hands up, and ran back to his car! I know that was You with an army of angels surrounding me. So, thank you Lord.
How about the time I was bullied in grade school, and one of the girls yanked my necklace off that my grandmother gave me. The four girls punched and threw me on the ground, and ran away laughing. I was crying as blood dripped from my mouth and nose. I clutched my neck and said, "Dear God, my grandmother's necklace, please bring it back." And, within the hour, the girls were apprehended, punished for their deeds...and my grandmother's necklace was retrieved. So, thank you Lord.
Fourth grade…oh boy, I recall with vivid detail the humiliating episode in which I was the victim. During a break, I opened my milk and bag of cookies. Bobby, the class brat, snatched the milk from my hands pouring the contents on my head. The class laughed hysterically, pointing their fingers, I wanted to die! Afterward, that same day, Bobby won a bicycle in the school raffle. After a long deliberation, the teachers and parents voted unanimously. Bobby had to award the prize to me because of his mischievous behavior. I awkwardly accepted and opted to give it to Nancy instead. I heard Your voice, “My child, give the bicycle to Nancy, it’s your choice, but I know you won’t disappoint Me.” So, thank you Lord.
About five years ago I was scheduled to undergo surgery for a humongous limpoma on my right scapula. The day of the operation I received a call from the surgeon stating “an emergency came up and we need to reschedule.” I was highly annoyed, that’s no lie. I decided to go for my three month blood test instead. The results were delivered within three days, and my numbers were dangerously low. If I had proceeded with the operation as planned, I would have been in danger of bleeding and/or an infection. And, within three weeks, my humongous limpoma was down to a little bump! You saved me from unnecessary pain, and potential danger. So, thank You Lord!
Lord, this note is just a smidgeon of what You have done, and continue to do for me.
So, I thank You for Your wisdom, guidance, protection, mercy and never ending love. You know all the things You have done for me. I chose to highlight some of them in this letter. So, thank you for these miracles, and for the countless acts You have done on my behalf.
I adore You, and all glory, and honor, belong to You, forever and always. Amen.
I love you.
With praise, thanks and love,
Your loving child,
Me~

I guess that when we get to heaven we will be shown all the ways that God's angels have stepped in to rescue us from danger, whether it's resulted from others' malice or our own stupidity. Well done.
