Born:
And when the time had fully come
God sent His Son.
A helpless babe
In manger laid.
Creator God, what mystery
That here we see,
Small fingers curled
That made the world.
Eternity breaks into time,
Wonder sublime,
God came to earth
In humble birth.

Living:
By Jordan waters, ‘neath blue sky
There spoke from high
Th’eternal One,
‘Behold, My Son.’
He preached, He taught, and all could see
Authority
And truth and grace
Shine from His face.
He healed the sick, the lame, the blind,
The troubled mind
From sin set free
To liberty.

Dying:
It was as if all time stood still
On Calvary’s hill.
The light of day
In darkness lay.
Angelic beings held their breath,
There, led to death,
God’s only Son
Belove-d One.
‘It’s finished’ His triumphant cry
Broke earth and sky
In victory
Eternally.

Rising and Ascending:
Heartbroken early morning gloom
Ran to the tomb
To where He lay
That Easter Day,
Sealed stone and grave clothes could not keep
Him in death’s sleep.
And joy sublime
Broke into time.
Risen, Ascended, Glorified.
In Him abide,
Tell all who’ll hear
The Lord Is near.

Coming:
And when the time is fully come
God’s Holy Son
Will come to reign.
He’ll come again!
The clouds will part and every eye
Behold the sky,
His Glory see,
Power, Majesty.
Come to Him now, do not delay,
Believe today,
His Word is true,
He lov-eth you.
