From My throne, on bended knee I see
Your meekness, an aroma of humility
I know your thoughts, My child, you think you’re poor
I call you blessed, for My kingdom shall be yours!
From My throne, I see your hands clasped in prayer,
trust shining through from a pure heart so rare
I call you blessed, My child, watch and see
Marvelous manifestations of my love for thee!
From My throne, I see your head bowed in holy awe
Heart meditating on My law
Hungering and thirsting for My way
I call you blessed, for you shall be satisfied this day!
From My throne, liquid prayers, your tears I see
Spilling from your heart so full of mercy
No more mourning, no more sadness
I call you blessed with My mercy, comfort and gladness!
From My throne, open hands I clearly see
Speaking reverence and praise for Me
Your words like incense in the air
I call you blessed with My loving care.
From My throne, I see the image of your smile
As you sit with Me awhile
My joy reflected in your face
I call you blessed with My love and grace.
From My throne, My child I see
Your earthly temple worship Me
Not only in word but deed
I call you blessed with all you need.
