Ever so quiet in dawn’s streaming light
Seeking my way aright
My heart is transformed by Your loving care
Listening for Your whispers in the air.
I beseech You now my Lord
Let our vision be of one accord.
For You have sent me on this journey
An eternal path, a mystery
Planned from the beginning of time
I look for Your will, not mine.
I beseech You now my Lord

From Your spirit I cannot hide
As I journey by Your side
He perfectly knows Your mind
To impart hidden treasures divine.

Inclining my heart for understanding
Your Word is wisdom for my planning
In the splendor of this day
Surely I will find Your way.
I beseech You now my Lord

Oh, ancient of days
I long to know Your ways
Though You hold my destiny
Thy Word will set it free.
I beseech You now my Lord
Let our vision be of one accord.
As darkness descends upon all creation
I pray Lord, seal my instruction
In peaceful slumber I hear Your voice
When morning breaks, I shall rejoice.
For You have sent me on this journey
