#4- “That’s right! Why… I remember when I first came here; if it weren’t for your kindness I could have caught may death of cold.”

#1- “The little one is quite a handful, isn’t he.”
#2- “I should say so, but so was my little lamb.”
#1- “Your little lamb is not so little now, is he!”
#2- “Hold your tongue or they may have it for dinner.”
#1- “Very funny.”
#3- “Indeed.”
#4- “I don’t mind sharing my food, but… sleeping in it?”
#3- “Indeed, indeed.”
#1- “Could someone turn off that insanely bright light, please?”
#2- “Hardly… it is a star, you ninny.”
#3- “Indeed! I thought we agreed their would be no name calling?”
#2- “Easy for you to say, you old goat!”
#1- “What is an Immanuel, anyway.”
#2- “Immanuel?”
#1- “That’s what they keep calling him.”
#2- “It’s going to be a long, long night… and tomorrow a day to remember, I’m sure of that!”
#3- “Indeed… a wonderful day to remember, indeed.”
All the animals finely quieted as they bedded down. It became a most silent night as Mary and Joseph watched Jesus close His eyes His first eve in the manger.
