The Gardener looked down on His work and found it was overgrown with weeds.
He’d flooded His garden to kill them but still there were multiplied vigorous seeds
That replenished the garden with wasteful plants that were choking His beautiful flowers.
The Gardener wept and declared it was time to sow new DNA in His bowers.
There, in His garden, a beautiful flower grew hidden, un-noticed, serene.
He sent her an angel to find if she’d welcome the new strain of man to redeem
His garden from choking with every depravity earth could invent at the time.
She loved the new plan and immediately placed her body and life on the line.
The Gardener watched while the seed began its life in the gentle womb.
He placed His protection at every stage lest the weeds create havoc and doom.
He saw it was good and electrified early the holy desire of man.
He rested and waited till, one holy night, ‘twas delivered, and Life began.
There were angels, and trumpets, and great celebration, with music filling the skies,
And just a few flower-heads turned to respond with delight and expectant cries.
The Simon and Anna flowers lifted their heads to rejoice at the change begun.
Some Wisdom flowers journeyed to visit and honour the seed newly sown in the sun.
Even they did not know of the new DNA which would rise above every weed,
Which could not be choked, but by dying, would rise up and flourish in every seed
That accepted infusion. Such seeds would blossom and lay down their lives again
Till the garden respond with spectacular colour and fruit to the Gardener’s rain.
Oh the Seed was sown but the battle goes on between flowers and thickets of weeds.
And every battle will strengthen the delicate flowers until it seems
To the Gardener and Pruner that they’ve won the battle, simply turning their heads to Him.
He plans to collect them, burn-off, and then transplant to Heaven - His long cherished dream!

This would flow better with closer attention to more regular meter, and I'm not sure how it relates to the topic of "carols".
Nevertheless, it's highly creative, and has some great imagery!
