The appeal of a woman
Has never been founded in verbal expression
Nor is mastery of words the final lesson
God finds His best workers
In the fields of great efforts
And he blesses them for righteous deeds
And the planting of eternal seeds
When language brings nothing but heartache
Acts can be the cosmic equalizer
Calling for great sacrifices to be made
And the foundations of commitment to be laid
Spoken words are void of power
When inaction is their cousin
But the love found in a lifting spirit
Can move all who are near it
Speak only what will become action
Want not for the self
But be a person of unselfish investments
And relentless holy accomplishments
And never waiver the Heavenly attitude
That encompasses the soul of a believer
As the commitment to action
Weighs more importantly than diction
We will all, one day
Give not only an account for every word spoken
But for every oral promise broken

Spoken words are void of power

I'm going to hang this on my refrigerator AFTER I found out who wrote it so that I can give proper credit to this brilliant nugget of truth.
