departing for the first job I found.
The journey's empty, I'm all-alone,
it's my first time to leave home.
My school years brought countless tears,
teased and taunted right through my years.
A medal never hung around my neck,
ending in elimination and an absolute wreck.
Disappointment, my closest friend,
by no means achieving a dynamic win.
I worked my fingers to the bone,
often missed out and left home alone.
I couldn't achieve any high marks,
became a laughing matter, another lark.
I'm taking a job out-of-town,
no one will know I've been let down.
I have a unique Man on my side,
offering encouraging words and granting me pride.
I'll follow His Word and allow Him to lead,
I'll make my bosses delighted they hired me.
I'll win my awards and bonuses too,
proving to my employers I have someone higher seeing me through.
