Topic: SOCIAL (04/07/16)
There are degrees of socialability. This word means the range or degrees of being social. Where are you on this range of being social? Are you a loner- comfortable being by yourself? Are you always one in a crowd and needing the crowd?

People are oft times judged on their socialabilty. If you prefer to be separate from others, you might be called a snob while if you prefer to be in the crowd you might be called the attention-getter- the one looking for attention. Both of these judgments could be completely incorrect.

God has gifted us with personalities he wants us to use and display. God may want us to be able to work alone or he may want us to feel comfortable in a crowd. God wants us to be comfortable wherever he has made us to be. It is wrong for anyone to feel awkward in either place if we were not made for it. If we feel at ease in a crowd we should not envy those who feel comfortable all by themselves. If we feel best when we are alone or only with one or two others, we should not desire with envy to be able to be in a crowd and envied by them. When we do this we are not living as God has made us. We should not want to live in ways other than how He created us. We are His creation and made for his purpose. We will not fulfill his purpose when we desire to live in ways we were not created for.

Remember, He is the potter and we are but clay in his hands.

This is very true. The pressure comes from other people's expectations, and sometimes even from our own imaginations of what others expect from us.

This is a nice essay on the social personalities. I've learned God made me a certain way for a reason. I'd love to see you expand on it even more, maybe even giving examples or characters who fit both the introvert and the extrovert. Nice message and you definitely wrote on topic.

I have always loved the metaphor of the Potter and the clay. This is a great reminder to be content with who God has made us to be.
