It seemed like smooth sailing but I knew that sooner or later a wind would crop up which would cause life to become just a bit choppy. Hopefully not a storm, but just a blustery day which would cause us both to need to hold on a bit tighter, tuck our legs up from where we were dangling them over the side of the boat and mast the oars again.
Sure enough, the wind blew up. Stephen had been renting a house for the last four and a half years from one of the young men in the church. His entire family and extended relatives had lived in the two bedroom house at different points but now it was just him. The young man from the church had moved to the coast and bought another house there, while continuing to rent to Stephen. His investments had turned sour, however, and Stephen soon found the house on the market, three months out from our wedding. Potential buyers were wandering through every week.
The deal was it would only stay on the market for six weeks and if it sold then we would have to move, but if not we could stay. It seemed like we would be able to stay and then on the last few days a buyer showed up.
There had been a rental house advertised in the local paper; three bedrooms and a nice location with a huge backyard at very reasonable rent for our pricey little town. I had not paid a whole heap of attention to it as it seemed we would not need it, but with the deal closing in, we had started praying for another place.
A friend dropped into work to pick up a parcel and I mentioned to him about our predicament. His brother just happened to be looking for tenants for his place, and as we discussed it further, it came about that it was the same place as in the paper. He rang his brother and told him that he had an interested friend and the next day we got to check out the joint.
It ticked all the right boxes. We had agreed in prayer that it needed to be warmer than we the one we were in, it should have at least three bedrooms for all the junk we had collected and because we would regularly have family coming to stay, it needed a big backyard where we could make some noise without the police being called all the time, and I secretly added that it needed a nice kitchen and not an old 70s creation.
It was all that and more. Now we just need to fill out the application form and see what happens. So pray for us as we check out the next stop on God's journey for us.

You may want to double space between. That extra white space makes it easier to read and people won't feel overwhelmed and skip it, if there is more white space.
You have some great stories to tell and the message needs to be read by many. Nice job.
