Cogitate, ruminate or even
Sometimes stand and deliberate --
Why has the Lord chosen me?
To enter His eternal kingdom
And not another.
Other times I would rather --
Mull over, meditate or just
Stand by the picket fence and
Ponder the goodness of my LORD to
my life.
For is it better to sit down and reason?
Supposing and imagining
The whys, wherefores and heretofores
Of all things over and over and
On and on into
Infinity!
As Christians,we are called to believe in Christ alone.
To know that He is the final judge
Of all human beings, regardless
Of race, ethnic history, creed
Or social stature on the job
In the government or
As part of the
local community.
Is it not infinitely better
To consider His sacrifice on
The cross at Calvary?
To reflect on the full cost of
What the Son of God did.
So that men, women and children—
regardless of where they are born,
or level of education they have received,
or culture they are part of or even what time
period they have lived through.
May still know God’s loving grace
and enter the Kingdom of Heaven
as a beloved Son or Daughter of
the King of Heaven and Earth.
To think on all these things that Christ has
Done for me and will continue to for me
Just because I sought His forgiveness
With my repentance and prayers,
Is well beyond my comprehension.
May I always be thankful for my LORD’S
Infinite Love, Grace & Mercy
In my life.
