The more years I will live
The more each day comes
The more I feel and see
What this life is to be
I have come to witness
I have come to testify
That my life is nothing without thee
I see people walking and talking
People striving and hard working
People suffering and dying
People in poverty and misery
Have we understood what we are here to do?
Leave aside our ambitions and dreams
What is it that we strive to be?
One day we will be ashes and dust
In the soil of this earth
Just like how we came from earth
Like vapor come and gone
But our souls will go on
On a mission from God
This is our real purpose
Why we have come to exist
I am glad I can see
It is to obey and please thee
You and me one day in eternity
In the heavens immortality
In the physical presence of Almighty
Lord Jesus who died for me
This is what I desire for me
For all my family
For all my brothers and sisters
My eyes see much sadness
In every country I have been
Places I have seen
Our souls have died and not living free
Bound to our everyday needs
Everyone has to feed
But you will provide all that we require
If we trust and leave it in the palm of your hand
Lord our faith is so low
Our faith is so small
The believe in you has been lost
Through all the sufferings
Our hearts have turned stone cold
Questioning if there is a God
They all want proof from you
How can it be explained to them?
How much you have blessed us all
You sent your son to save us from the end of time
How much more proof do we need
There is more to know
For the hearts of the ones that are open
It hurts you deep
We have disappointed you once again
It saddens me to see
Churches turned into nightclubs
Churches turned into expensive apartments
Churches turned into mosques or shut down
People do not care anymore
Where their soul will go
They almost do not believe the
The stories in the bible told
My desire is to be with you
My heart is yearning for us to know you
To feel your presence personally
Live our lives how you want us to survive
Lord help those lost see your glory
There is still time for everybody
To be a witness of your love
To testify to the power you hold
To show the strength you owe
My prayers are for all
