When from this weary world I go,
to a new place my eyes have never seen,
I have a fear of the unknown,
of the place to which I have never been.

For years I have lived apart from Him;
away from my adoring Fatherís house.
How will I behave when I meet Him;
my Father I have only heard about?

I feel as though Iíve known Him my entire life,
and that he has been with me everyday,
though I have never set my eyes upon His face,
he has touched my life in so many ways.

To trust in my Father is all I need,
Everything else is a distraction.

When I am faced with temptation and greed,
I must let my heart guide my actions.

Each day I watch my own children as they play,
and I imagine my Father watching me.

The author of my life is always the same,
as the pages continue to recede.

I have never felt forsaken,
during times my Father should have been there.

For I know though I cannot see Him,
My adoring Father is always near.

Oh my Father high above,
touch me now with thy love.

Place your hand upon my face,
and join me here in this place.
