When I enter into
The light that is yet to be --
When I find my soul
Has been set free --
When I see
My heavenly Father's face
And stand in His presence
To soak in the goodness
Of His grace --
There to enter into
My eternal home
And stand before Him
At His eternal throne...

When I enter into
The perfect space
Filled with His divinity
And His glorious grace
Where holiness resides
Then I will understand
Where pure love abides...

I have come
Into this earthly light --
I have traversed
This span of time --
I have wondered --
I have dreamed --
I have surmised --
I have questioned
What eternally
Will be in my soul's sight --
For there I will discover
The blessing
Of His holy light...

Oh the thought
Of what is yet to be
Is the reason
That my spirit
Flies so free...

There will come a time
When this earthly light
Will no longer shine
Upon the shore of my soul --
There will come a time
When youth will have passed
And there will no such thing
As being old...

When I enter into
The holy realm of God
I will leave behind
This dust and sod --
For that I am grateful
That one day I will enter into
The home prepared
For me
And until that day
I will dwell in peace
To yearn
This world to release --
For I know
What is yet to be
And what I will see...

The light of my eternal home
Chases away even the sun
With the glory
Of its shine
For there I will
Linger in the presence
Of God the Father
Who says that His love
And home are mine...
