There is a home
That is planned by God --
There is a home
Past this earthly sod --
There is a home
Where freedom
Is at the door
And love abides
Within --
There are windows
That let in holy light
And keep out
Earthly sin --
There are floors
Of crystal
And lights
That share God's
Perfect peace --
There are walls
That stand
For justice
And prove to man
That redemption
Has provided him
Release...

A welcoming presence
Stands at the door
As the door now opens
To reveal what
God has in store --
Left behind
Is crumbled evidence
Of earthly remains
Loss and sadness
As well as
Sorrowful tears
And human pains --
There earthly pain
And pleasure
Have passed
And I have arrived
At tomorrow's home
At last...

As I arrive
At tomorrow's home
I see streets of gold --
On my way
I see gates of pearl
And all of which
I was foretold --
I view many hues
From sparkling
Jasper
To deepened
Sapphire-blues
And shades of emerald
Green --
All of these and more
Await me
As I arrive upon
Tomorrow's
Scene...

Tomorrow's home
Holds for me the final
Reward for my passing
Through earthly space
And reveals solidly
To me pure love
Only to be found
By my Father's grace...

Tomorrow's home
Is heaven
As provided
By God above
As the final residence
For my soul
Where I will
Eternally abide
In His perfect love...

You have captured well in your poem the beauty that awaits us in our Tomorrow's Home and all the pain earthly sins will be washed away. Thanks for sharing.

This is so very lyrical that I could almost hear a wonderful praise song in this. Lovely. God bless.
