There will be
The season
Of the lily
On the rise...

Past the moments
Known beneath
The snowflakes
Patterned upon
The ground --
The lily will
Once again
Seek the sun
And its beauty
Will abound...

As the shades
In the meadow
Green
Arrive upon
Springtime's
Scene --
Lily on the rise
In purity
Will share

As winter says
Its annual goodbyes

A sunny center
To share a smile
With all --
Stem of green --
And open-ness
To greet the day --
As lily on the rise
Gives itself away...

Then when the icy
Days
Have turned
To warmth
Of spring
Look across
The meadow
Of your life
And there
You will discover
Blessings of
The finest beauty
And passion
Which the lily
On the rise
Does bring...

I enjoyed this. I'm not a poet so I appreciate those who are!

'Lily on the rise' recurs and unifies this lovely poem. What an effective and appealing image! I enjoyed reading this very much!
