He had read for many years how Christ had hung and died.
It was King James persuasion, for him he knew was best.
When he needed guidance it had surly passed the test.
Then coming up behind him was another man to live.
He accepted Christ as Savior and his life would daily give.
He also had his Bible, the NIV his choice.
The first man turned and saw him and then yelled with a loud voice..
“Don’t bring that Bible in here; it surly is a fake!
It was written by impostors who had a false take.
They were only educated so its writing can’t be true.
You have no right to be here in this land beyond the blue.”
Just then a man came to them with a glow that made them bow.
They fell down on their knees; who needs those Bibles now?
He asked what is the problem?, to the first man of the two.
He said, “it is his Bible, with those writings that aren’t true.”
“My King James was inspired by some truly Godly men.
And his was only written by the educated pen.
So how can one believe it when its writings are all wrong?”
And Jesus turned to him and said, “you’ve pondered this too long”.
“Why are you so worried about the Bible he has used?”
“I’ve viewed his life for many years and he was not confused.”
“He brought souls to my kingdom by the hundreds with his walk”.
“How many have you brought to me with your righteous King James talk?’
He said “Lord please forgive me for I did not discern.
I got caught up in a detail and forgot to really learn.
That the way You showed Yourself to me was not the only way.
You used another Bible to bring him here today.”
“I have given liberty to those who will believe.
Who just picked up a Bible and of My words receive.”
“I have given purity to the two of you today,
And with different translations, you both have found your way.”

Oh my, how many times do we get stuck in a train of thought that has no eternal value! Thanks.
