“God show me a place where quiet reigns to write
The words you form“…… As writers we long to find
A solitary place, a place of refuge where only we and
The Creator exist.
Of course on earth there is no such
Animal , even though we often wish there were. To think
Of the multitude of challenges is not a difficult task.
Life by itself is a challenge. People are challenges-- editors
And publishers alike. Those with chronic illness and physical
Disabilities have to overcome them.
Just getting up in the morning and facing the day can be a
Challenge, whether you are a writer or not. But the greatest
Of these that we have to overcome is the four letter word
Fear.
Fear of the unknown. Fear of a rejection slip. Fear of not
Believing in ourselves.
“Within my mind of restless thoughts, only you can calm.
Let my words be right not wrong, so others may see“…..
There are personal challenges writers face that can only be
Known by them and God. Such obstacles that only He can
Resolve.
Even though we face these in our lives, we can overcome
And be the masters of our craft.
Depending on the type of challenge a writer may experience
will dictate what kind of outcome will occur.
Your creation in the world of words, inspired only by Thee.
A solitary place where one can write is green pastures and still
Waters , where the shepherd of our souls resides.
But until we Arrive at Heaven’s Gates, our place of victory over the
Challenges we face is within.
