In the wake of late term abortionist, Dr. Tiller’s murder; I became interested in the life of this man. Wanting to understand what kind of person packed up his family and drove them to church each Sunday, only to go off to work each Monday and kill innocent babies; compelled me to do some research.
So, I got on the Internet and ran a Google news search. I read and I agree on all accounts, his murder was a terrible act of violence. Of course, on all the liberal sites, every Pro-Lifer in this world, helped the killer pull the trigger. It seems that my narrow, hateful, bigoted mind; wanted something like this to happen.
I guess it was at this point the bitter vile started to rise into my mouth. You see, I am not just a Pro-lifer, I am Pro-God on all things; but that’s another challenge article to write!
I moved my search to abortion sites. I came across the Pro-Life and Pro-Choice sites and read a little from each. Then, one caught my eye and that’s when every sweet taste bud in my mouth died and the vile bile multiplied and divided.
The site is called, Priest for Life, and I found the most unimaginable images of aborted fetuses from the fourth to twenty-fourth (plus) weeks of life. There are also some videos that I have yet to watch.
I sat and cried looking at these babies who died, and for what? Liberal freedoms, to appease the ACLU, to help fund Planned Parenthood, tolerance, open-mindedness, progressiveness, the health of the mother, the unwanted handicapped child, the one-night stand, oops birth control method? I just don’t understand.
I wonder how often, Pastor Lowell Michelson from the Reformation Lutheran Church, where Dr. Tiller was a usher, might have read from the book of Psalms. I wonder if he ever quoted or taught to his members the proclamation by David about how God formed his inward parts.
“For You formed my inward parts;
You covered me in my mother’s womb.
I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Marvelous are Your works,
And that my soul knows very well.
My frame was not hidden from You,
When I was made in secret,
And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.
And in Your book they all were written,
The days fashioned for me,
When as yet there were none of them.” Psalms 139: 13-16 NKJV
I wonder if Pastor Michelson threw in a little bit about what Isaiah said when he announced that God formed him from the womb.
“Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer,
and He who formed you from the womb.” Isaiah 44:24 NKJV
Or, maybe just maybe, he informed Mr. Tiller and the rest of his congregation how Jeremiah professed that God had formed him in the womb.
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you;
Before you were born I sanctified you;
I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” Jeremiah 1:4
I cannot be sure what Pastor Lowell Michelson said or did not say. But, I know that from our pulpits today we are not hearing about this, "Age of sin." We do not hear about how God will judge all nations for this most immoral of all crimes.
For surly, He will hold all accountable for each sweet soul they took from Him. For these babies belong to Him, (He formed them). They are loaned to us for His glory, (He knew them before they were formed.) We are to love and protect them as He loves and protects us, (He blessed us with them and wanted to continue to form them into His image.)
I wonder if Dr. Tiller would have understood these insights, he would have chosen another line of work.
I wonder if he would have seen that these babies were not his to take in any form or in any way, he would of opted out.
I wonder how many more babies will be murdered.
I wonder if this bitter taste in my mouth will throw me into action. For this narrow-minded, hate-monger, intolerant, sweet baby-lover, has had enough!
