Topic: Car Trip (07/18/05)
During the Summer my Dad and I would Camp out in the mountains but this Summer was a different plan.

When School was out for the summer I ran as fast as I could so that we could get packed for the Camp out in the mountains but when I arrived home it was different. "Dad are you ready to get packing to go to the Mountains", "No, son we're not going to the Mountains this Summer, We're going on a trip to your aunt in Essequibo, "Why?", "because we've gone to the Mountains many of times", "but I love the Mountains, It is like my second home", "Sorry Son, different treek this Summer.

The Next Day I moped around all day while packing to reserve at my aunt's house.
The Day when We left the house I felt that my dad had let me down by not allowing us go to the Mountains. During the first two hours o trip from home(Thomas Street) I began to felt that we were never going to reach there so I asked "Dad, How long is it before we reach Chicago","Not very long, Why don't you play with your Gameboy or whatever you call it", "You're right". But after a while I was beginning to feel bored, then suddenly something caught my eyes the sights were so breathtaking, The beautiful green Forest, The Fishes and also the multicoloured Parrots and Macaws that I wasn't feeling bored.

After a while we arrived at my aunt's house, she asked "How was your trip Jason?", "I was feeling bored at first but I didn't know there were beautiful sights while travelling to Essequibo", "Well maybe you will want to come back?", "Sure do" I said

Enjoyed sharing this new discovery! The use of capital letters for emphasis seemed a bit distracting to me. Enjoyed the happy ending: ""Well maybe you will want to come back?" "Sure do" I said."
