Embraced by the light of her artistry,
Alex follows her own "Muse"...the Goddess of Fine Arts is her mentor,perhaps? Releasing the artist within, with an intuitive eye for beauty, she creates with elegant grace.
Having used countless media, she might
say with Gandhi: "real beauty, uniquely expressed, is my aim."
Of late, precious stones in a rainbow of colors are her chosen tools; mystical purple, bold sapphire, rubies, crystals, emeralds and luscious fresh-water pearls, to name a few.
She designs unique-one-of-a-kind jewelry, each piece its own work of art.
Sensitive, warm-hearted, the landscape of nature and nurturing exotic birds, as well as her jewels, form her "playgrounds." Teddy,regal African grey, a prince, named for a beloved uncle, and exquisitie Monet, blue-throated mini-macaw,feathered imagining of the great artist's paintings are lovely to behold. How Rainbow, her sunconure, loves Scooter, her mate! Alex's jeweled creations, "Jasmine Jewelry," bear the name of another of her beautiful birds. Maui, her first "little baby," fragile Sunnybow and Kito,the clown, were with her for too brief a time and now await her at Rainbow Bridge when its her turn to "cross over."
