Try to remember what you’ve been told
Be the good fertile ground
For the seeds sown that are sound
There’s no need to be full of fear
There’s one who will dry all your tears
Leaving confusion and the confused behind
It’s time to enjoy your renewed mind
Let go of being angry and sad
Time for the good, goodbye to the bad
Letting go of those things in the past
Lay hold of those things that will last
It’s embarrassing the way we forget
The ultimate payment of our debt
Instead of living like our example
His grace we often trample
Always looking for the happy pill
Needing more and more frills
To achieve the place we call joy
Mostly traps placed to be decoys
Forgetting the power of the blood
When the evil one comes like flood
Being confident of that one thing
His love for you, you can cling
In that you should not be surprised
His love for you is easily surmised
For God so loved the world, He gave,
He went all the way to the grave.
