Spock's shuttle docked and rocked to my
generation.
He quipped captain Quirk
With an un - Vulcan - like smirk:
"You've gone too far to be a star,
And wound up a double quasar."

So sent to sell Kirk,
( A chagrined Quirk )
Downwstream , close to the murk
For further examination
Of his exploration...

Now he is lost in deep - space nine
While still keeping perfect time.
As the next degeneration
Eagerly awaits a new rotten ferry.
To boldly go where no author's pen has
Gone before.

As we all recall, Quirk with phaser gun;
Pre - set on stun.
To drop a dreaded Clingon
Band on the run...

Scotty to warp speed ten
And taken to tissue as before.
Deplores " this ship can't take much more," !

(But in memory of " Bones "
We dare not throw stones.)

Still they employ the real McCoy
For that big scream...

Wake up it beams,
A real bad dream !
