This is not a once upon a time story.
Although it is about kings, queens and slaves, rich and poor, brave and humble, losers and winners, the good, the bad and the down right ugly all of humanity.
I cannot tell the whole story here.
I will try to sum it up in a few short paragraphs just maybe enough curiosity for you to pick up the book where I found this truth that I'm about to tell you.
It starts out with a King. The king of course has a kingdom.
But He longs for someone to care for and to love.
So in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Science has determined that this same event did occur and in their theory they call it the big bang.
Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it.
Oh what a beautiful garden God created for mankind.
The first man and woman were call Adam and Eve.
They had the best of the best.
The accuser Satan couldn't stand the thought of Man having such favor with God so Satan sat out to prove to God man was no better a creation.
Just giving the chance, Satan would prove it.
See God knows all! So God knew the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the He had made. Satan said to the woman, "Did God really say, 'You must not eat from any tree in the garden'?"
Well, I know you know the rest of the story.
Eve ate then gave it to Adam and he ate.
This is when mankind fell and the punishment for this was death.
God in His sovereign mercy and love had a plan called salvation.
God sent his Son His name is Yeshua. Yeshua is the original Hebrew proper name for Jesus of Nazareth. In other words, Yeshua was the name His mother called Him when she called Him for supper.
You must believe that Yeshua is the promised Lamb of G-d, who was chosen to be sacrificed for all mankind's sin. The Bible declares that mankind must have a blood sacrifice to substitute punishment for their sins by placing them on the sacrifice, figuratively speaking. The sacrifice has to be blameless, else the punishment could not be substituted, since the thing sacrificed would be dying for its own sins.
Yeshua you must believe was that perfect sacrifice. He is the man, who could be properly substituted for mankind, yet God in the flesh, for only God is sinless. Only God Himself is a pure enough sacrifice to satisfy His holy justice, for all men have sinned. Because Yeshua presented Himself with this absolute authority it is only logical to conclude He either is God or He is the world's greatest pretender, thus a liar and definitely a lunatic.If Yeshua is God then He is the greatest Jew who ever lived, and an honor to the Jewish people. If He is not God then He is the worst Jew who ever lived and a disgrace to Jewishness. Yeshua is the Messiah of Israel and God in the flesh, who will come again. This will happen in the end times.
The end does not exist only in the imagination?
Do YOU grasp the meaning of the end?
Do you look forward to the end with fear and uncertainty?
Do you find fault with the Bible and feel it is usually filled with to much sternness?
Would you be willing to amend your ways?
The question we need to ask is. If Yeshua is alive today, (which I believe he is) can he make a difference in my life.
Once we say we are sorry to God he will take away our sin and make us a brand new person a christian. He also gives us the free gift of Eternal Life. This means that when we die the next phase of our life begins, Spending eternity with yeshua Why not give it a go. You have nothing to lose and erernity with God to gain.
