Open arms wide, for tender hugs
O restless wanderer
No fixed abode
I tread the streets of the unloved
Temptation of the flesh!
Brazen wily wit to charm
Yes, even the birds
O restless wanderer
My heart did yearn
This man duality of soul
Honeycomb words, Silken with chains
O captive one! You who dreams but with pipes
He weaves with deceit
O Naïve soul! Where is my fair haven?
Powerful in deceit, yet the angels stood by
Cocooned in his grip, devised with guile
O heart beware! He means you no good
Yet, to feel love, would be a pearl of great price
O the twist of fate I knew so well
Duality of his soul, flesh he desired
Where O where is innocence?
Lost among the rush of leaves
His demise was destined, I knew this so well
For God still held me in high esteem
His heart of betrayal swift, swifter than an arrow
Pierced with sorrow
Yet, finally he hung, head held down, as Judas
Sorrow, relief, but now free
For I have now found the True Pearl of great price
Love from a pure heart
From Jesus who is faithful and true
Perfection comes from the Father of lights
Such an invitation!
Open arms stretched wide for tender hugs
O restless wanderer now loved!
For now I tread the streets with His love!
