The definition, according to Webster’s Dictionary is:
“Enjoying happiness or bliss; favored with blessings; happy; highly favored.”
Jesus gave the true, Biblical meaning of the word The Beatitudes in Matthew 5:3-12 in The Sermon on the Mount.
My interpretation of the word and this Scripture is being a well-rounded person with their life in order and in line with the will of God; while seeking His Presence & trusting He will answer our prayers beyond our expectations (Matthew 6:33).
I have learned being blessed is not based on materialism and external circumstances; but on contentment and internal peace in the midst of chaos, while blossoming where He has chosen to plant me.
This past year has been a difficult one for me-personally & professionally. To be honest, I am ready for it to be over. My faith in Him has been shaken to my core; but I still choose to believe He has better days ahead for me in His Sovereign plan for my life (Jeremiah 29:11). He has answered prayers very close to my heart in unexpected ways and with a waiting process.
As I wait, He has me going through a refining process. However, I am comforted by the fact that I am in His Will even when it is difficult to move forward. In this process, I am experiencing His Provision in the midst of tough circumstances & how to be content in the process. He has reminded me He knows my heart and is interested in transforming it to be more like His heart. With this reminder, He has shown me what He saw in my heart. Needless to say, it was not pretty. I have chosen to surrender to His Will to transform my heart to be like His. With this transformation, He will get the Glory He deserves through me, as changes my circumstances.
I have hope in God and choose to believe He is doing a new thing in me. I am not where I want to be at this point in my life, but I know I am where I need to be. I have so much to be thankful for, especially my salvation in Him. Even as I go through this refining process, I still choose to believe and say I am blessed by Him because I know when it is all said and done, I will come forth as gold (Job 23:10).

The one thing I would suggest is to double space between paragraphs to give the reader white space.
