I have watched the Humans for a long time, some of the things I have seen would never happen in my world. Why just this morning, when I came at light, I saw one human throw away perfectly good food! I was horrified down to my stets, no, feet. If we Flonks ever wasted food, we would get punished by having to go hungry for a time, depending on how much we wasted. Sometimes, our plods, storerooms, get destroyed by fierce winds or Humans and we have to go on short rations and hunt doubly hard to continue eating. I learn about Humans from light until un-light.
Oh, look, the Humans are coming in to the open part of the zoo. Look, some are being pushed in the machines called wheelchairs, some are using sticks called canes. These Humans have the funniest looking skin I ever saw, they don't have much hair on their hands and bodies like we do. How do they stay warm in the cold weather? Flonk's call it depfra, Humans call it winter. We grow heavier fur for the depfra, humans just put on funny looking blankets called coats. Oh, I just remembered, their fur is called clothes. They put on different ones whenever they want. We have to grow ours, I ask the Leader how he thought they grew their clothes. He had no idea and I didn't ask again because I did not want to get the duty of having to learn how they grew it, I am having enough problems trying to learn the speak. Leader is very good at assigning tasks to Flonks that ask too many uh uh...oh, yeah, questions. This is so new to me, I am probably going to make lots of flogups..no, mistakes. Leader help me I am getting off subject. Back to learning Human.
Wow one of the Humans just started pounding on a black and white piece of furniture. It sounds good,,I think it's called music. How it comes out of that furniture I don't know, one of these days, maybe I will go inside the zoo and check it out..but for now, I am just watching and learning.
Look, that Human has on a lot of the clothes. I can't see her at all, oh, there is her nose and I believe its an eye. Another Human is putting a large coat over her too! It must be winter in there. It's warm out here. Here comes a Human with fur on his face. He’s called a Nurse. He is picking up the Human and taking her back into the zoo house. He does that for a lot of Humans. They sure are funny creatures, hard to tell what they are going to do next.
That Human there.. the one by that flat piece of tree called a table..She just opened a whole package of seeds. I love those seeds, They are called Sunflower Seeds. Look, she's going to come out and put some in the feeding station where we eat. I wonder how Leader trained them to do that!We have a great Leader. When un-light is near, I will go to the feeding station, eat and get enough seeds to take some back to the storage tree. You know, if the humans would keep putting these seed in the feeding station, our life would be much easier. Look, that human is putting out spid..uh..Acorns! We Flonks love them! Oh, sho, I'm going to jump, flip and run! That felt good! I am sorry if I've made … mistakes in putting this story down..Come back tomorrow and see how much I have stothed, no learned. Have a great un-light with your leader you call God.
