Author's comment: This is a poem comparing wild emotions to taking a ride on a dragon, and the result of allowing one's self to get carried away by such emtions. The rider in question allowed himself to be lured into an emotional affair with another woman; thus the need to apologize to his wife.

Chalk any confusion as to this poem's meaning to an inexperienced writer uncertain of what her audience may or may not understand. Thank you.

P.S. The pills referred to in the article have to do with the influence of alcohol in leading the man from mere emotional affair and into adultery.

The dragon itself stands for the spirit of whoredoms that is taking the man's emotions for such a wild ride.
