So much has been said or written concerning the negative aspects and implications of anger with its attending consequences.Anger can be a great tool and weapon of change.Interestingly some of our great leaders that made indelible marks that can not be erased, got angry at one time or the other about something that was not in proper place. They refused to accept their present level as the ultimate. They were displeased about their immediate environment and got angry enough to cause positive changes.Crusaders got hostiled with what wasn't right and it eventually provoked them to proffer solutions to the impending problems.
Remember the anger,i call it RIGHTEOUS INDIGNATION,of our Lord Jesus Christ in the Bible when he went to the temple and overturned the tables where they were buying and selling, turning the Lord's House to den of theives. Most lasting and sustaining changes were products of someone getting angry at status quo.You must be tired of your present level if you must move to the next.
Change agents refused to accept the norms, they broke traditions, defied decrees or policies using anger as a tool in accomplishing the great feats.Statements like 'something boiled in me' is the reserved experience of the men of destiny.
Nelson Madela was a quiet and comfortable lawyer when he got angry at apartheid in his nation and decided to invest his life to see the situation end and his fellow countrymen experience freedom. He later came out of prison to become the president.
Martin Luther King Jr also got angry at racial prejudice of his days, fought against it and today though dead,he is still speaking.
Men of great destiny are men that used anger to their advantage to bring positive turnarounds to people and their nations.
