Even it is for just a while even for just a night? If so, then why not pack up that suitcase and venture
away for the day! You might be surprised by the feeling of freedom you will discover when doing so. I
know that is how I feel when I pack my purple suitcase! It is a sense of power.
By going away, I can be rid of all the stress and worries that surround me every day in life. A time to
relax and enjoy the setting’s around me. Time to gather my thoughts of all I need to accomplish.
Nevertheless, it is time for me to spend with God.
By getting away, it has then become a place to let go of my sins and my worries. A place that allows my
heart to be free from distraction! Free from the distractions that will enable me to discover how to walk
closely with God. It may be hard to see and relax that this purple suitcase can do all of these things for
you.
It is the reality of once being chained to our worries and distraction and then being set free from them.
How powerful is that! Did you ever think a suitcase could do all these wonderful things for you? Ever
thought of the freedom it provides to let you become the person you need to be!
A suitcase is not just a suitcase! A suitcase does so much more than allowing you to pack a few things in
it. It gives you the freedom you so desperately need. It allows you time to be away from friends and
family. You will find that by getting away it will allow you to become a better person!
Nevertheless, ultimately it is time to spend with God. Time to spend in God’s word and seek His face
even closer than you normally would. You will gain a feeling of closeness that you may have never
experienced before. What wonderful times you could have and wonderful times I have had because of
my purple suitcase! It has been some wonderful memories of getting closer to God because of my
purple suitcase.
