Emily laid there on her soft pillow in the night with her heart pounding hard. She thought of all the things she had done in her life. She thought of all the good and all of the bad.

She tossed and turned over and over again through the sleepless night. So much weighed on her mind. The bad began to outweigh the good. This bothered Emily a great deal.

She did not know how to change this picture. She wanted more good in her life than bad. But, how?

She remembered a friend of hers who talked so much about this Jesus. She constantly told Emily how he could change her life and help her through the tough times. The things that were the hardest on her. She told her how Jesus loved her very much and how he died for her. But Emily was to prideful and did not want to listen to what this friend had to say.

Now, here Emily was thinking back to those things and wondering if that same Jesus could still love her. She remembered that her friend told her all she needed to do was ask him into her heart. He could soften things that had made her heart so hard.

Just then she decided at that very moment it was time to ask Jesus into her heart. She was tired of the disappointments in her life and the termoil she had to face on her own. She knew she needed help.

So she prayed and asked Jesus into her heart. She was glad she did and found peace the moment she gave her life to him!
