Today’s Earthly News for Angels Everywhere
Jerusalem - An important occurrence on earth today marked the beginning of the Appointed Time. Gabriel appeared to the priest Zechariah in the Temple, declaring the conception of his son. The angel explained the way in which the parents are to raise the child, also hinting at the future mission of the boy. Skepticism and Disbelief immediately attacked Zechariah, who then questioned the likelihood of the angel’s decree. Gabriel counterattacked by silencing the voice of the priest, physical evidence that the words of Gabriel will indeed come true at the proper time. True and just are the Lord God Almighty’s judgments.

Nazareth - Gabriel was called to a very important mission this morning. In conjunction with a visitation of the Holy Spirit, the angel spoke to Mary of Nazareth at her home. Gabriel granted Mary understanding of how she would be with child despite her virginity, as recorded in the prophecy of Isaiah. The earthly name of the Son of God was proclaimed to the mother for the first time.
All angels are warned and ordered to be on the defense against increased enemy activity on earth. After today, the accuser will concentrate his attack on those the Lord has chosen. Great and marvelous are the deeds of the King of the Ages.

Nazareth - Doubt, Suspicion and Shame were seen in action today at the home of Joseph of Nazareth, abusing the virtue of Mary, his betrothed. A brave angel was sent directly into the battle to reassure Joseph. Approaching while the human was asleep, the angel caught the enemy unaware and was able to overwhelm the adversaries, replacing the offensive thoughts with Faith, Trust and Hope. The angel was also able to proclaim to Joseph that the earthly name of the Holy One is Jesus, the Lord saves. Hosanna, He alone is Holy.

Hills of Judea - A major defensive border was formed around the home of Zechariah and Elizabeth today as the baby John was born. In eight earth days he will join the family of Abraham, his name will be announced and his father’s muteness will be healed by the power of God. All those involved in the regular defense of this family are temporarily relieved until then. Extra defenses are being assigned for the duration of the boy’s life.
In similar news, all those being called upon for surveillance and defense of the family of Joseph during their travel to Bethlehem must be on alert. Their journey will take many days and they will encounter numerous physical trials, making them weak to enemy attack. All angels are instructed to guard the couple’s minds and lives, but to keep themselves hidden from sight if possible. These last days are dangerous for all those involved in God’s work. The Appointed Time is upon the earth and the Deceiver is active, his lies an attempt to stop the birth of Immanuel. Although the angel armies know he will not be successful, still we must engage in the battles appointed for us. Salvation and glory and power belong to our God.

Bethlehem - The Hour has arrived on the earth. Praise the LORD! A great choir of angels gathered near the site of the birth of the First and Last, singing “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom His favour rests.” An angel calmed the fears of the shepherds who witnessed the concert, and directed them to the birthplace. Defenses will be tight around the family, as the danger has not passed with the nativity. Many people and all in heaven rejoice that His Kingdom has dawned on the earth. Hallelujah, for the Lord God Almighty reigns forevermore.
