Embarrassed?

Who me?

I laugh at the accusation from such as yourself.

Ask me who I love, ask me who takes care of me and I will not be afraid to answer with the deepest honesty I have. People may laugh, others will ridicule, but I have not a worry about the thoughts of others. I am solid in my beliefs and I stand on ground that does not sink. I hold on strongly to the ties that bind me to the One who will always be found standing beside me in every situation. I shall not fear a single enemy for He has provided safety for me in all situations as long as a choose to believe.

This one whom I speak of is God. He is ever present in my waking moments. He rides with me to work and whispers in my ear. He gives me the strength to complete my tasks at work and enables me the power to rule over all of my enemies. There is no other being any where who can compare to the God who created this world we live in. Through belief in Him all things are possible. Nothing or no one can stand in the way of my happiness when I place Him first in my life and I am not embarrassed to share my passion.

I will so gladly share my thoughts about Him in all I say or do. I know when to advance for Him and I know when to stand back and let Him work through me. I protect His honor when given the opportunity and I give Him all the glory for the workings He does in me. I fear not the shadows which darken my skies at times because I know He is the only one I will have to answer to in the end. When others are against me I rest my head on His shoulders and breathe deeply, knowing I am safe and loved.

I am in no way shape or form embarrassed to share my faith. If they find me singing out loud for no reason about the grace of God they may look at me strangely but I know He is listening to my love song to Him. If I suddenly look thoughtful I may have just made a connection about something or someone He has been trying to teach me about. So what if I start correlating life occurrences with Bible stories and no one seems to be listening, I know in my heart I am doing right by my creator.

Crazy some call me. Insane others may think. This is just what makes me different from the rest just as we all are. God created us to be individuals and some of us take advantage of this while others try to hide behind what they believe to be their true selves. Each of us has the opportunity to shine for Him. We all have the ability to proclaim His grace everywhere we go. If you keep it bottle up inside, how will others see a difference in you? How will you share the joy of Jesus if your don’t share your happiness?

God wants us to be fun-loving spirits. He want us to reach as many souls as we can while we are here for our short visit. Yeah, people will think we are different. We might get some funny stares and a few laughs, but what joy can be found in sharing our true selves with others. Step out in faith today and let your God spirit shine. Start out small, quote a Bible verse. Then move on to singing a song while you are at work or in the grocery store. You never know when God is going to use you for His purpose. Maybe someone needs to hear a certain word while they are standing in line at the check out lane, you could be the person who delivers the word just by singing a song that is wandering around in your heart.

Embarrassed you ask?

No way, not me!

Let me stand upon the nearest rooftop and sing in my off key voice “Amazing Grace”!

This is called "the gift of evangelism" and not everyone has it. Be blessed as you use this gift in a way that would honor and bless your Heavenly Father.
