I feel him pull me close to him and that is all I recall.
I didn't feel a thing.
It was over and I didn't feel a thing!
I had to ask him.
Did we just Kiss?
As I'm searching his face for any gesture that could give me my answer.
I am thinking to myself "oh my goodness, was this my first kiss and I didn't even feel it!"
He smiles.
Then laughingly, he says, "Yes".
My mind is racing, I feel so embarrassed.
My first kiss, from the guy I love and I missed it.
I had anticipated this event all of my life, well maybe not my entire life, but I wanted to be kissed by him.
I am in love with him.
I had waited and dreamed of this moment and I MISSED the WHOLE EXPERIENCE!
What happen I may never really know.
Although I believe at that moment I temporarily lost consciousness.
I had missed the sensation, the emotion of my first kiss.
I was so wound up with an air of wistful expectancy that I missed the event.
Sometimes we can get swept away with dreams, hopes, and the desires of this world.
Our mark or goal as a born again Christian should always be with or influenced by what would be pleasing to Jesus Christ.
If we get involved with worldly pleasures and we don't attend church, never pray, how can we build a solid relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ?
When we have a relationship we communicate with the person we are in the relationship with.
We transmit information, thought, or feeling so that it is satisfactorily received and understood.
It is categorical imperative to be open to each other.
Just like when I longed to see my boy friend, I wanted to be pleasing to him in every way.
The way I dressed.
The way I wore my hair.
I wanted everything about me to be acceptable and pleasing to him.
We communicated with each other.
Today we have Gods word written in a book called the Holy Bible.
It is called the Old and New Testament.
It is unconditionally and universally binding to communicate with Jesus Christ more than just on Sunday morning.
We must pray, read our bible and obey the word of God as Jesus Christ taught His Apostles.
His disciples, being inspired by the Holy Ghost wrote down everything we need to know in order to be saved and to receive eternal life.
In this Sacred Book we can find everything we need to know on how to build a lasting relationship with Jesus Christ.
Jesus will hold nothing back from you.
Jesus is the Alpha and Omega the First and the Last.
The creator, the origin of the beginning.
He gave His all on Calvary so that you could have eternal life with Him.
Don’t get swept away with the demands of this world and miss out on what you long for.
To spend eternity with Jesus Christ.
Don’t miss Heaven.
Talk to Jesus, tell him everything.
He wants to hear all your wants, cares, dreams, and problems.
Don’t get so wound up with the false hopes of this world that you miss out on your eternal home with Jesus.
Just in case your wondering what happen with my first love.
The one I missed the emotion of his first kiss.
He married another.
They lived 40 years together, had 5 wonderful children.
She was my best friend.
She went home with Jesus this Past May 2004.
She had cancer.
I’m looking forward to the family reunion in Heaven.
Oh what a Glorious day that will be!
