A good, strong message, clearly taught! I'm glad you ended with the prayer; that was great. In my mind, the most convincing devotionals quote a Scripture, then develop from there. You can't go wrong when you validate what you say using a direct quote from God's Word! Another way to make your devotional hold the reader's attention is to use some small story, example, or illustration from real life, either personal or borrowed. Jesus taught with stories; no one's improved on that method yet! A good, solid entry. Have fun stirring in these ingredients and watch your skill in this genre open its blooms!

A good strong message. Take a little look at your tenses, which hop about a bit. Keep writing.

Great message and reminder that we don't need an abundance of material things if we have an abundance of love for our fellow-man.
