Perfect Gift
Everyone should know their God given gift. A mentor of mine when I was young was an heir to a banking fortune but all he cared about was teaching about nature. He taught all creaturesí have their niche. So do we have our role in Godís kingdom, in Godís work force. We are all experts in something. We all have our niche.

My area of expertise is helping people find their area of expertise. I love talking to teens and young 20 year olds and asking them what they want to do with their lives, like a frustrated guidance counselor. I spoke to a young Indian teen who wanted to be a teacher."Oh my word," I gushed, using my gift of encouragement,"That's wonderful!" He pulled back and smiled a little, shocked, "Man, you are so enthusiastic." Oh you blasť, jaded generation, how long shall I put up with you? There are so many undecided youth seeking purpose and where to use their gifts.

God has many gifts he has given his body. Nineteen are listed in the Bible, (such an odd number). They include wisdom, speaking in tongues, interpreting tongues, teaching, serving, prophesy, pastor, mercy, leadership, knowledge, healing, giving, faith, encouragement, evangelism, discerning spirits, apostleship administration, and miracle making!

We are all experts. God bless us all to find out in what and to use them to the fullest.

Yes, as a tutor I urged kids to just do the work to get through high school and then find what they liked to do and get whatever training they might need for that.

I think the last two sentences of the second paragraph was meant to be a separate paragraph.

Good thoughts.
