Because you do not know what life here is all about.
It’s time you saw the light and not hide your eyes to this life
The world is not your friend; it will cause you so much strife.
There are rumors of war and battles fought here daily on earth
As life goes on day by day with us working, playing, and giving birth.
And as we hear of the deeper side of drugs and alcohol, and the horrible crime
Let’s remember Satan has his hands in all of this for he knows it’s about time.
The Holy Spirit was all around me, wooing me to Him, I knew then it was to be
I just bowed my head at that time as a warm flowing feeling fell over me.
I knew it was the Holy Spirit giving me that peace as I asked the Lord
To forgive me of my sins, it was then I felt connected much like a threefold cord.
The sad part about life here on earth, is that you are given the true meaning of life
You can ignore God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit, and continue on with your strife.
Remember just because you want to keep them at bay, or put them on a rack
Eternity is forever and no decision is telling the Lord, ‘I just want you off my back’.
Have you ever tried to beat the clock, hoping you can finish before time expires?
Have you tried to rush and push to get time on your side or maybe even conspired?
Have you ever wondered why things seem so hard to accomplish here on earth?
Have you left God out of your picture? Oh no, time just expired! No time for rebirth.
