Nothing! Nothing created; nothing existed except the Father, Son, and Spirit. For all eternity past, nothing created.
The Father, Son, Spirit always existed by themselves with nothing else. The Trinity went into a planning session to create humanity to demonstrate their love. The Trinity full of sacrificial-love and wanting to give it away.
The Trinity knowing you cannot demonstrate sacrificial-love in a vacuum. They knew there had to be evil to contrast dramatically their sacrificial-love. They created some of the angels with a defect that allowed them to be self-centered in their thoughts and actions.
As part of creation, these angels who would fall never existed before. As created beings, they have a beginning in the same way humans have a beginning. These defected angels became overcome with self-centeredness and wanted to be bigger than the Trinity.
The Father could not allow this evil to be part of His sacrificial-love in heaven and kicked them out. These fallen angels wanted to destroy the Father and all He stood for. They wanted to be king and ruler of the universe.
Now it was time for the Trinity to put their plan into action. The Father spoke the universe into existence. The universe came out of the Father’s moth where nothing existed before. The universe started out the size of a pea and expanded out filling the void.
As Creator, the Trinity is outside the confines of their creation. This includes time. The Trinity is outside of time and move through time as they will. They encompass time. They know the beginning from the end and all that is in between.
As the Father spoke the universe into existence billions of years ago, He has been in control over His creation all the time. He has been forming the suns, planets, galaxies, and the universes all along. All of it expanding from a pea size.
As all the building material expanded out of the Father’s moth, it conformed to His plan. As time progressed, He eventually made the little solar system we reside in. He made the sun and all the planets.
As the earth cooled and at just the right time the Father introduced plants and animals in conditions that we cannot even phantom. He created each species for a particular place and purposes in a progressive scale to fill the earth and make it habitual for His prize possession. The Father’s prize possession of His creation is humanity.
The Father created humanity to be able to demonstrate the Trinity’s sacrificial-love. The Father knew all along humanity would fail, sin, and need of a Savior, Jesus Christ. The Father, pure sacrificial-love, created humanity knowing all along that He would have to send His own Son to be their Redeemer.
Our Redeemer only had one purpose to demonstrate the sacrificial-love of the Father (Ephesians 3:19). Throughout His life, He demonstrated the sacrificial-love of the Father. All that He did and all His teachings demonstrate the sacrificial-love of the Father.
Now as children of the Father, He instructed Paul to write what He wants His children to do in Ephesians 5:1-2, “1Therefore you must be imitators of God as children, who are objects of His love, 2you must live a life in love, just as Jesus Christ loved us, and gave over Himself on our behalf, as a sweet-smelling fragrant offering and a sacrifice to God.” (Translation mine)

Let the Father’s love expand in your heart in order for you to demonstrate His sacrificial-love to a lost and dying word. As we demonstrate the Father’s sacrificial-love expanding into the world, the world will want His love.
Let the Father’s sacrificial-love expand in our hearts. The same love and power that created the universe, raised Jesus Christ from the dead, and seated Him at the Father’s right side is in you. Let the Father’s sacrificial-love expand in our hearts to fill the universe with His love.
As the Father’s sacrificial-love grows and expands in your heart let it completely fill your heart to the full and to it over fills and flows to a lost and dying world. The world is looking for love. As our Redeemer demonstrated the Father’s love to the world, let our love influence the world.
The world is looking for love, real love, and sacrificial-love. We have the Father’s sacrificial-love in us that must go out to a lovesick world. Let the Father’s sacrificial-love in you expand out and fill the universe.

You use interesting parts of the Bible to draw your readers to the conclusion you desire.

Love is very important and our love for people depends on our true love and belief of God. If we loved God more we would love people more.

I would like to see how this article would look if you used the creation time as the 7 days the Bible tells about.

I like your subject matter. Love is the most important trait of God that we should practice.

Review formatting before hitting the submission button. I have to reformat often.
