CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION!
“Ladies and gentlemen, thank you all for coming out today to celebrate with us. My name is Annie Gates. One hundred years ago today, Benjamin Gates—my great-grandfather—left us a legacy, and the great treasure that millions of tourists from all over the world have visited. The life-sized Replica of Moses’ Tabernacle in the Wilderness has blessed generations of Christians and Jews—and the curious. While the original structure the tabernacle was housed in had to be replaced with a new one with a retractable roof; the tabernacle has remained 100% in its original condition. We believe this is a miracle. Recently, another miracle happened; I will let the man how discovered it tell you the story. This is Mr. Frank—our groundskeeper. He’s what now? 72 years young, but still serving the Lord. Here’s Mr. Frank.”
“Good morning. What a glorious summer day the Lord has made! Yes, I believe it’s a miracle, too—at least a sign. Last week, I was cleaning the tabernacle area near the entrance to the Holy Place. There are five pillars there. I noticed something odd about the first one; near the ground there was a small round spot—oh, about a half-inch wide—where the wood had aged differently. It was sticking out a little, with what looked like a piece of paper. I was very curious about it, but I did not want to disturb the tabernacle until I called Annie. Annie do you want me to tell your part?”
“Yes, go ahead Mr. Frank.”
“Anyhow, Annie comes over and takes a look. She says, That IS odd. What do you think, Mr. Frank? And I says, Why not? She pulled out the little piece of wood and sure enough, a piece of paper sealed in plastic was hiding in there. Annie didn't say nothin' for a long time as she read the paper, handwritten by Benjamin Gates. She started crying. In fact, by the end she started weeping.”
“I had been so caught up in this world with all its technological advances and enjoying the legacy of my family’s wealth, I had forgotten my first love was Jesus. Deep in my soul I had grown cold to continuing my love relationship with Him. This poem was meant to be found at this time—not just for me, but for any of us who have lost our way or gotten off track, distracted by the cares of this world, or even simply backslidden. I thank God for my heritage: every generation since my great-grandfather has kept the faith. A scanned 3D replica of this paper is now being posted on the worldnet for all of you to read with me. If I start crying again, Mr. Frank will have to take over. Here it goes:”
What? How can you walk away from God's great unconditional love?
Over and over again Jesus has reached out to you, yet now you run.
Nothing can separate you from His love: don’t believe all of the lies:
Deep within your heart and soul you know the truth—let faith arise!
Expand your vision and look up! For your redemption is very near:
Repent my friend and turn away from living so empty and insincere;
Follow Jesus and return to your first love with Him right now, today:
Unleash the power of the gift of the Holy Spirit within you and pray,
“Lord be merciful to me, a sinner.” bowing down in a humble position;
Jesus The Wonderful One will respond “I AM” to your quiet petition.
Expand your vision and realize how Wonderful Jesus is in your life:
Surrender everything now: all of your heart, soul, strength and mind.
United again with Him, your love will grow as you spend time together;
Such unconditional love will expand until you are with Him forever.
“We are very carefully exploring the possibility that there are other hidden treasures within the Replica of Moses’ Tabernacle in the Wilderness; already we have identified other small holes within the remaining four pillars. We have hired an archeological team for a complete, assessment of the site. We are excited about what other things we may find. Thank you Mr. Frank for your discretion last week; and thank you all for coming out today to celebrate one hundred years of the Replica of Moses’ Tabernacle in the Wilderness. We have lots of food, fun and refreshments if you want to stay and fellowship with our family.”
