"I love you", that's what I
read in the bible, that you
said "I love you". It simply
can't be true, my life is a mess and it
will never change.
You have forsaken me, and while
I am speaking to you,
I must say I need a miracle
so you need to stop and listen.
All my life I knew pain,
the torture I endured,
words from my mothers tongue like
beatings and lashings.
Then my father declared,
I did it all for you,
before he left me.
Call on me,
he said, but he wouldn't pick up
in the hour of need. I
was disappointed. He said he
will always be here for
me, but he isn't so I'm stuck with
you.
If you can hear me God,
draw close to me and I will
depend on you.
Protect, watch over and care
for me, and I will live
for you.
