Topic: Drip (04/25/13)
Two thousand years ago Jesus hung in the sky on a cross called Calvary. We get the passionate picture of His battered, bloody body. Drip,drip,drip, the blood slowly leaves His nail scarred hands . The life force of blood that once flowed through His veins we now see; Drip,drip,drip, from His pierced side, falling with eternal purpose to the ground.

Those drips caused Him his precious life He so willingly gave Himself for the benefit of mankind. Each drip represents each heart, each person who was and is to come. Every sin was washed away in every drip of that priceless blood. Every person was given a new lease on eternity through those countless drips of blood that drained the life out of the Son of God.

Those drips represented every sacrifice ever offered to God for remission of sins under the Old Testament sacrificial system. All those yearly sacrifices offered by the priests of old were forever washed away in every drip of His blood.

The drip of blood from His battered body cost Him separation from God and He who knew no sin became sin through the drip, drip, drip of every drop of His life giving blood. Every drip brought us closer to peace with God and a second chance of eternal life and reestablished our lost union with God.

So remember this , the drip,drip, drip of Christ’s sinless blood, will always be our guarantee that we are spotless and blameless and sitting in a restful haven at the right hand of the Majesty on high. We now dwell in heavenly places and inherit every spiritual blessing in the drip,drip,drip, of His fallen blood!

Good job. I'd call this poetical prose. Have you ever tried poetry? I think you'd be good at it.

This is really lovely. You really grabbed my heart with the line each drip represents each heart saved. My only suggestion would be to not use the word drip as much, sometimes you can still be on topic without ever using the topic word. You did a splendid job though and this is an intense piece.
