I was walking on a busy road
When came a familiar sound
My respond was of the upmost importance
A life to be touched and blessed than bound
I look amongst the faces that riddled the crowd
There she was an older woman reaching out
Hand in glove she took my tissue as gesture of God’s love
She nodded and I smiled as we passed like ships in the sea
No she had never met me nor I her prior to this day she had this need!
The winds of winter kicked up some more
As we passed by one another on this very busy road
The stoic faces in the midst without uneven paces
Still she knew as did I we may never meet again
Yet for this time and just a moment in this time
Could there be this blessing for others of it cannot find
Nor place in which a tissue’s blessing can be met with such ado
Then when and only when you hear the sound “achoo”!
“Achoo!” “Bless You!” “Thank You!”
