Topic: Flat (01/03/13)
There was a time when most people thought the world was flat. Educated folks knew differently. We know which group was right. Even the most uneducated knows the world is round. Today no one really knows how gravity works. We know it does, just not how. If you choose to believe or not believe it does not change gravity. Just like those folks that believed the world was flat didn't make it flat.
So Gods Word lays out certain rules for life. Take for instance; Luke 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. Or, Mark 16:18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
These are just two laws established by God in his word. Most people don't believe but that does not make them any less true. In these last days we must study to show ourselves approved. When you learn the truth start to use it. The Earth isn't flat and Gods word is true.

Good devotional material. Add spaces between paragraphs for easier reading. Great job, and keep writing!

You've given us some good food to chew on for awhile. I would like to make one suggestion...if you could throw in a personal ancedote from your own life that would really help to draw your readers into your devotional. Thanks for sharing...I enjoyed reading it.

This is an interesting devotional. You get right to your point. I did notice a couple of tiny typos like forgetting the ' in God's Word. I'd enjoy reading even more of your personal story in this piece. One thing you can do is share a time when you didn't heed God's words and how the promises in the Bible made a difference in your life. You covered the topic and brought up some interesting points. Good job.
